Festival Rules & Tips
Thank you for being a part of the World 3-D Film Expo! We want this one-of-a-kind show to be special. Since each film will be run only one time... and in many cases never to be seen again... we really want to get it right. There will be Expo staff and volunteers at the Egyptian at all times, and we will all do our best to make this a memorable event!

Rules & Tips for Enjoying the Festival

Festival Passes, which are good for admission to all shows*, must be worn at all times.

You must be in line no later than 15 minutes before the start time of the show. Those not in lines by that time risk losing admission to that show.

The theatre will be cleared after each show. Please do not leave jackets or any other seat holders. If you have a ticket to the next show, you will be directed to a separate line outside the theatre for admission directly after the pass holders, and before everybody else.

Although a show may be sold out, it is possible that a few seats will still be available. We will do a seat count in the theatre a few minutes before show time, and if any seats are available, we will sell tickets for them. These seats will be sold CASH ONLY. No credit cards or checks will be accepted for these "last minute" ticket sales.

NO cameras, video equipment, or recording equipment is allowed in the Egyptian Theatre at any time without prior permission.

Please turn off all cell phones and pagers when in the theatre.

We totally understand the fascination with "how 3-D works", but please understand: Due to the complexity of running these shows, the projection booth will be locked at all times. Tours of the projection booth will not be available during the 3-D Expo.

Tickets and passes will be mailed (by Priority Mail) until August 31st, 2006. Ticket Orders placed after that time will be held at will call. Photo identification is required in order to pick up your tickets, so please have photo ID ready when you go to Will Call. Please bring your order confirmation number to Will Call as well.

Tickets will be available at the Egyptian box office starting Friday, September 8, through Sunday, September 17. Cash and credit cards only, please. Checks will not be accepted at the box office.

All sales are final; there are no refunds or exchanges.

There will be no late seating. Pass holders and ticket holders will only be guaranteed admission until 15 minutes prior to the scheduled screening. After this time, remaining seats may be sold to the public.

Special guests are currently being scheduled for many of the shows. In some cases, the guests will come BEFORE the shows; in other cases, AFTER the show. Please check our web site for updated information. All guests are coming "schedule permitting". Updates, when appropriate, will also be posted at the Egyptian Theatre during the Expo.

Please check the schedule carefully: In some cases, the short subject comes AFTER the feature, not before. This was the way that they were run when originally shown, and we are honoring this presentation method.

3-D Glasses (Polaroid type) are required to view all of the films at the 3-D Expo. Anaglyphic (red/blue) glasses will NOT work. You are welcome to bring your own 3-D glasses if you have them. If you need to purchase glasses, cardboard 3-D glasses will be available at the theatre for 50 cents per pair. "Premium" glasses are available now on our web site, and if we have any left will also be available at the theatre for purchase. All 3-D glasses are yours to keep and reuse throughout the Expo. Please try to keep dirt and fingerprints away from the lenses; these will detract from the 3-D effect.

Drinks, popcorn, candy, and other snacks will be available at the Egyptian during the shows. A list of local restaurants is available on our website.

*No one under the age of 18 (including pass holders) will be admitted to "The Stewardesses" midnight showing.
